Affordable Bear Resistant Trash Cans for Seminole County West of I4
The Issue
Support Seminole County Commissioner Lee Constantine who has proposed AFFORDABLE Bear resistant trash cans for Seminole County west of I4. Included are residents of Heathrow; Lake Mary; neighborhoods along Markham Woods Road; and subdivisions such as Wekiva, Sweetwater and Sabal Point.
FWC Deputy Director Kipp Frohlich noted in an email to the county that Seminole, "specifically the portion west of Interstate 4, is at the epicenter of human-bear conflict. Seminole County has the second highest level of the bear-related calls from any county in the state. "http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/os-bear-trash-cans-seminole-constantine-20150825-story.html
