Prevention and being proactive are the best things we can do for the our island in our current crisis. With the underlying conditions of the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH), uncertainty of the possible spread of COVID-19, and 10 positive cases currently being treated there, it’s safer to have COVID-19 patients and expecting mothers seen at separate facilities. Let’s ease the worry and stress on our health care providers and expecting mothers by moving the maternity ward from GMH to Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) effective immediately. Let’s spread the inafa’maolek spirit and protect our future.
