Release Virtua Fighter 4: Final Tuned in the west, optimised for Xbox360/PS3, with online features, the VF4:EVO training mode and tutorials

The Issue

Dear SEGA corporate,

Virtua Fighter 4: Final Tuned is the final chapter in one of the most well regarded series in VF and has gone unplayed by most of the world, including the majority of the VF fanbase outside of Japan. We would like for this gem to be ported to a platform other than arcades, outside of Japan.

What we’re asking for is a fully optimised console (PS3 and/or Xbox360) port, unlike the PS3 VF4:EVO port that utilised the PS3’s weak emulation software, and for it to include a fully functioning online feature with ranked, player and room matches just like Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown.

Bringing Final Tuned to consoles not only allows fans to experience for the first time what is considered by many to be the peak of Virtua Fighter, but would also allow the series to remain in the public eye while we all wait for Virtua Fighter 6

It has been nearly two years since the last VF console release - VF2 Online. Port VF4:FT so that a general audience can be more aware of what makes Virtua Fighter unique and worthwhile, while allowing series veterans to have closure on the 4 series.

Additionally, porting Virtua fighter 4 to the PC platform and even the current generation consoles PS4 and XboxOne would mean you can make a much larger audience aware of Virtua fighter, firing up people's interest in this series after experiencing its greatest instalment, paving the way for Virtua Fighter 6.

We advise you to especially consider a PC port after a PS3/Xbox360 port, as the PC platform is very popular with many western gamers and many of the gaming community would appreciate one. This has been made clear by the recent boom in popularity and success of 2D, independently developed fighting games such as Skullgirls and divekick.

The PC gaming market has yet to receive a real 3D fighting game experience, this untapped market could hold huge potential for the first developers to really take it seriously.

Finally, please consider including the stellar Virtua fighter 4:EVO training mode and tutorials. These are considered hands down the BEST of all time and are praised as so by all those who played EVO. It'll not only spark the interest of even more gamers in Virtua Fighter, but allow them to experiance the ocean of rewarding gameplay that high level VF has to offer.

Thank you for your time,

Your Western fanbase.
