Hello all, Maria Bennett has been in discussion with Sefton Council who have indicated they may be willing to provide some funding towards the re building of Smithy Green playground. For this to happen the Parish council would need to agree to provide £25000 from the parish budget. The aim of the meeting tonight is to propose this solution and hopefully, after careful consideration, have an agreement in principle in place. We still have a long way to go and nothing is set in stone however it is good to know that the matter is being discussed. This means it is really important that our message comes across tonight at the meeting. I will be there at 7pm and will have my say and present our petition. Thanks for getting involved.
