Rep Tom Hannegan’s death in late October 2021 meant that his aspiration to see Eric freed will never be realised.

Tom met with Governor Parsons earlier this year on behalf of Eric and was due to meet him again last month (November 2021) to ask Governor Parsons to respectfully grant clemency to Eric in light of the new evidence.
