Seek the Maximum Sentence for Tyler Cochran's Murderer

The Issue

My husband, Tyler Cochran, was shot and killed. His loss has left an unfillable void in our lives. This devastating crime has not only robbed me of my partner, but also robbed his two beautiful children of a father.

Tyler was a loving husband, a caring community member, someone who always helped those in need. His life was brought to an abrupt and brutal end, stealing him away from those who loved him dearly. It is now our duty to commemorate his legacy by seeking the maximum sentence for his murderer.

In the United States, a murder conviction can bring life in prison without parole or the death penalty, depending on the jurisdiction and the circumstances of the murder. We demand justice for Tyler, and we believe the only way to serve that justice is by demanding the maximum sentence for his murderer.

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, in 2019, 38.4% of murder offenders received a life sentence or the death penalty. Tyler's loss, the cruelty of his death, and the impact on our family must be considered. It is crucial that the court recognizes the gravity of this heinous act and rules accordingly to ensure the safety of others.

We implore everyone who reads this, our family, friends, the community, and even strangers, to sign and support our petition. Help us seek justice for Tyler in the form of the full sentence allowed by law for his murderer.
