As a deeply affected individual, I am moved to action by the plight of the Palestinian people.  Deprivation of the right to self-determination, extrajudicial killings, restrictions on freedom of movement and assembly and illegal settlements are some of glaring manifestations of human rights violations of the Palestinian people. The state of Israel has been accused of genocidal actions against Palestinians - an issue that demands urgent attention from the global community.

According to Amnesty International's 2020/21 report on Israel and Occupied Palestinian Territories, Israeli forces committed war crimes and other serious violations of international law during their 11-day military offensive on Gaza in May 2021 and their 96 day and still going military genocidal invasion on Gazans.These include attacks on residential buildings where there was no military target and attacks causing disproportionate harm to civilians including murdering over 30,000 people including 10,000 children and displacing millions of them as 70% of residencies are now destroyed.As well as the brutality of the atrocities that take place on the West Bank.

Israel has violated 28 resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (which are legally binding on member-nations U.N. Charter, Article 25 (1945); a few sample resolutions - 54, 111, 233, 234, 236, 248, 250, 252, 256, 262, 267, 270, 280, 285, 298, 313, 316, 468, 476, etc.

The United Nations has also raised concerns about these human rights abuses. However, despite these reports, no significant legal action has been taken against the state of Israel at an international level.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has delivered its ruling on the emergency measures requested by South Africa in its genocide case against Israel over its war on the Gaza Strip.
ICJ has ordered Israel to take steps to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza but stopped short of ordering a ceasefire.

This petition calls upon world leaders and international organizations such as UN and ICC to hold a fair trial based on these accusations. It is time we stand up for justice and ensure that every nation respects human rights irrespective of its geopolitical influence or alliances.
