Seek justice for Jesus Mendez Jr in Dallas county
The Issue
My brother, Jesus Mendez Jr, was a vibrant 18-year-old boy, full of life and dreams, until his life was brutally taken away in Dallas County. He was murdered in one of the most heinous acts imaginable — and his killers are only facing assault charges. This is not justice.
On a seemingly ordinary night, Jesus went to visit a friend's place in Pleasant Grove. Little did he know that this visit would turn into a nightmare. He was ambushed by four guys, brutally beaten with a bottle, his nose was slit, his arm broken and hanging by the skin. As if this wasn't enough, his lifeless body was riddled with more than 20 bullets, with 40 bullet shells found at the crime scene. To be left lifeless on the street, having endured such horror, is a grim reality no one should face.
This petition is deeply personal not just for me, but for anyone who believes in justice. Our family is devastated, and while nothing can bring my brother back, knowing that those who committed this crime are free is a nightmare. We plead for just charges to be brought against those responsible for taking Jesus's life in such a brutal manner.
Records show that he was making his way back to his car, having texted our sister that he’d be home soon. Instead, his life was cut tragically short. One individual even went over his body, shooting him while he lay defenseless. How can this be allowed to stand as merely an assault?
We need your help to bring justice for Jesus Mendez Jr. By signing this petition, you can help us draw attention to his case and push for the correct charges to be filed against his murderers. Let us bring peace to our family and ensure the streets are safer for everyone by not allowing these criminals to roam free.
He leaves behind a beautiful 3 year old baby who lost her father at the age of two last year JUNE 22,2025 search google for more on his story. #JusticeForJr #JusticrForJesusMendezJr
