Our forest is dying with over marketed tourism........ residents are being pushed out, our water resources are declining, Tourists & Residents are getting stuck in the  canyon or on interstate 17 and not able to move. We haven't had any rain and we are very dry.

We the people have several things we can do, regardless of where you live. City of Sedona has no voter-approved-Tourism-Authority, no county business district and no jurisdictional power to market the region. City of Sedona stop regional marketing & cancel all contracts with the Sedona Chamber.

We are all being put in harms way. City of Sedona continues to market the region without the proper infrastructure and paid the well over $21,000,000 million to do so.The City of Sedona, has made it about city-revenues and not Public Safety.

The City of Sedona has put city-sales-tax on OHV s more important than the land. The Sedona City Council has rolled out the red carpet for everything tourism. The city council points fingers at the state and forest service when they have the power to STOP all OHV on city roads.

They also do so with STRs, the city does not enforce the laws they can keep the red carpet out for tourism and driving the residents out.

They continue to market this, marketing tourism with the paying the chamber to do so calling it sustainable tourism.........The city of Sedona has no voter-approved-Tourism-Authority and no jurisdictional power to market the region. The Sedona City Council has gifted the regional chamber 21 MILLION plus to market Sedona Verde Valley to the WORLD.

The Chamber then kicks the taxes received from taxes imposed on in-city into the tourism with no transparency, no accountability.

Sedona has NO voter-approved-Tourism-District. The Chamber is not a government-model-tourism-authority.

This pins tourism businesses against the residents. They are spreading false narratives. The lodging tourism industry is doing everything they can even posting spinning things into negative on candidates who will STOP this!. 

The steps our community needs to take are:
