We as a bug bounty hunters, invested our precious time, knowledge and efforts for hunting bugs on different platforms and companies/organizations to make them more secure from black hat hackers having evil intentions. In return we expect an appreciation or even a bounty, but big MNC's take the bug report and tell us that its not a security issue but a security feature. When we move on from this report, they silently fix that issue and dont appreciate our efforts. They don't even bother to inform us that they have identified it to be a security issue and have fixed it.

Now you decide as a Ethical Hacker or a bug bounty hunter, is it fair that we put our efforts, sleepless nights and in return dont even get a proper assessment.

I also reported a bug at an organization, but they told me that the bug is not a security issue and after some time fixed that bug and didn't even bother to recognize my efforts for finding that bug.
