I am writing this petition as a plea for justice and compassion. Years ago, Child Protective Services (CPS) attempted to separate me from my children. It was a grueling battle that lasted five years, but I emerged victorious, regaining custody of my children while five CPS workers lost their jobs due to their mishandling of the case.

Today, I am standing up for my best friend who is currently incarcerated in Western Reginal Jail in Barboursville wv. On charges dhe hatmed her son when i have videoti prove she didnt. They haven't even asked to see it. She is not just fighting for her freedom but also battling CPS to regain custody of her son. This situation resonates deeply with me because it mirrors the hardship I faced years ago.

The American Civil Liberties Union reports that parents who are incarcerated are at high risk of permanently losing their parental rights despite having committed non-violent crimes or minor offenses (ACLU). This practice disproportionately affects low-income families and communities already marginalized by systemic issues.

Our goal is not only to secure my friend's release but also ensure she can provide a safe home for her son once again. We believe in rehabilitation over punishment and family unity over separation.
