Secure Sustainable Funding for Weber County Animal Services

The Issue

As passionate members of animal rescue organizations, we are deeply concerned about the ongoing animal crisis in Weber County, UT. Our mission is to help homeless pets and take in all those who need our help, but the situation has been devastating. The heart of this issue lies with Weber County Animal Services - they desperately need sustainable funding to spay and neuter animals at their facility.

Without adequate funding, the number of unneutered animals continues to rise, exacerbating the problem. According to Humane Society estimates, one unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce 370,000 kittens in seven years; for dogs that number is 67,000 puppies (Humane Society). These numbers illustrate how crucial it is that we act now.

We urge you to add this agenda item to a near future Board of Commissioners Meeting. By providing sustainable funding for spaying and neutering services at Weber County Animal Services facility we can begin tackling this crisis head-on.

Please sign this petition today and join us in advocating for these vulnerable animals who rely on us for their survival.
