The United States has abandoned Europe and the Ukraine.

This week, Donald Trump openly sided with Vladimir Putin, vowing to lift sanctions on Russia and end U.S. security guarantees for Europe. The message is clear: Europe stands alone.

For decades, we relied on American protection. That era is over. Russia and China are openly hostile and tightening their grip to the East, while the United States, once our closest ally, turns its back and sides with Russia. Ukraine stands as the frontline of our security, yet without decisive European support, it risks falling, leaving the rest of Europe exposed.

Meanwhile, Europe is divided, complacent, and dreaming of peace while we are long engaged in a hybrid war waged by Russia and China. Our leaders issue strong words but fail to back them with deeds. The solutions are there, yet they seem impossible to execute.

As a citizen, it feels hopeless. Desperate. Indeed the EU is in a mortal death struggle, leaderless, and nothing I could do would make any difference.

But here’s the absurd part: Europe is not weak.

• The EU has 448 million people — Russia has 144 million.
• The EU’s economy is $18.4 trillion — Russia’s is barely $2.2 trillion.

We outnumber them. We outspend them. We out-innovate them. Europe only is weak because it believes it is weak and refuses to act.

Let's change that! If we all make our voices heard, we can pressure EU leaders and national politicians and parties to act, so:

We Demand the Following from European Leaders:

1. Develop a Robust European Defense Economy:
   Leverage Europe’s industrial strength to accelerate the production of advanced arms, ammunition, and defense systems. Immediate action is imperative—implement a 4% defense spending mandate now.
2. Create a European Army:
   Establish a unified, professional European Army capable of rapid deployment and coordinated defense across our borders. This force will secure our future and deter any aggression.
3. Arm Ukraine Decisively:
   Provide long-range precision strike weapons, air defenses, and ammunition—not just to survive, but to win.
4. Seize Frozen Russian Assets:
   Confiscate Russian state and oligarchic assets and use them to fund Ukraine’s defense and reconstruction.
5. Form European Defense Pacts:
   Sign binding mutual defense pacts with Ukraine and frontline states. If one is attacked, all respond.
6. Fight Hybrid Warfare:
   Establish a European Center for Hybrid Threats to counter cyberattacks, disinformation, and election interference.
