Having graduated from Texas Southern University, I've seen firsthand the immeasurable impact TSU's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences had on my life and career. It opened doors to a fulfilling career and instilled in me a sense of purpose and drive. As someone deeply connected to the institution, my love for TSU motivates me to speak up for the generations of pharmacists to come—those who deserve the very best education, resources, and opportunities to ensure their own success stories.
The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at TSU has been a pillar of excellence for decades, serving as a launchpad for many successful healthcare practitioners who dutifully serve our communities. However, the demands of modern-day pharmacy education require facilities that foster innovative learning and research. A new, state-of-the-art building is not just a want—it's a need that will keep TSU at the forefront of pharmacy education and ensure it remains competitive.
Our current facilities, while rich in history, are unable to keep pace with the evolving educational demands. Modern labs, technology, and equipment are essential for training proficient healthcare professionals and offering students a learning environment that mirrors the dynamic nature of today’s healthcare landscape. By securing funding for a new building, TSU will continue its legacy and capacity to produce outstanding healthcare professionals who are ready to serve.
