The Issue

We, the residents of the Dellrose Community in Hockley TX, Mud District 319, are coping with severe water quality issues that directly infringe upon our basic human right to clean and safe water. Each passing day, we find ourselves grappling with an inconsistent water supply, low water pressure, unpleasant odor and brown water.

What started as a concern affecting our daily lives has now evolved into a veritable health risk, endangering the welfare of our loved ones, especially vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly. Our health and our peace of mind are being compromised due to this continuing negligence and oversight.

The plight of Delrose, our home, cannot be painted in harsher terms than the grim reality we face each day. This is a matter that demands immediate action from our local Regional Water and government officials.

We call upon the Regional Water/Local Government Officials to address these issues with prompt and concrete actions. We seek an improvement in the quality of water and ask for a consistent service to be provided to our community. Let's ensure that this basic human right is no longer denied to the residents of Delrose. We implore you to sign this petition and urge our officials to take necessary actions.
