The Lebanese Muslim Association is committed to supporting Metropolitan Memorial Parks’ consultation to address Sydney’s burial crisis and actively advocates for a modern memorial park at Carnarvon in central Sydney.

Sydney urgently needs more accessible and affordable burial and interment space in the heart of Sydney. The NSW Government has tasked Metropolitan Memorial Parks with identifying options to significantly increase the supply of new burial space, including assessing options at existing sites and potential new sites.
