Allow Dogs in our National Parks!

The Issue

Most Hiking trails in our National Parks do not allow dogs.  This is probably one of the most illogical rules we have.  Dogs on the trail help to notify hikers of predators and offer a level of protection in case a preditor does decide to attack.  The rules should allow animals on leashes and proper disposal of animal waste. There are so few places that do allow animals, and families, that are hiking in the woods should not be one of them.  Quite to the point,  hiking trails were made for families with dogs.
