It's past due that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is recognized at State of Illinois license DMV

The Issue

Since the ACLU won in court the right for women to wear a Hijab in official identification photos for Illinois State issued ID cards, and for State issued Drivers Licenses because of religious tradition it is unconscionable that these same principles of freedom are not being reasonably or equally applied to all other religions denying others of their ability to follow, as literally or devoutly as their own faith calls them to. The fact they are not already automatically applied for smaller congregations of lesser known religious minorities is a travesty. Minority religious organizations are being discriminated against as aggressively and unjustly as Muslims were just a few short months ago. Regarding their head covering, the Hijab. Please support my petition to allow Pastafarians in Illinois there constitutional rights by allowing them their symbolic headdress, a humble colander, on their head in official state photos. A hat is just a hat to most of us, but when his holyness, tFSM, requests his devotees properly cover their heads in official photos, who has the right to say they can't? How is the Muslims hijab is any more sacred, or any more mandated, or any more legitimate than a Pastafarians right to wear their colendars? Is it perhaps one "religion" might have a couple more practitioners then another? I believe that is why the state of Illinois is doing it, and why it must be stopped, discriminating against any religious group is NOT the job of our government; we already have PLENTY of bigoted citizens for that, too many actually, but they are ALLOWED TO BE BIGOTS or racists under the constitution so long as they don't violate any laws. But, our state and federal government's are not, and must not, allow freedoms for 1 or 2 or 3 as they see fit, they must be held to the highest standards and are bound, by law, to be neutral and uninvolved in decisions of faith or impede any citizens ability to practice any religion that is peaceful, legally recognized, and observing the laws of the land. It's either freedom of religion, or its a joke. You can not allow one biased population the indulgence of discrimination. It comes with the expense of true freedom of religion, and denial of protection of religious rites for all Americans. Impartial and equal are words that should be used by our government to describe the behaviors of officials to insure ethical treatment of all religious followers, of all faiths, for the remainder of this great country's future. My lord is not only the only Flying Spaghetti Monster, he is here for all of you if you accecpt him. But if we are not allowed to follow our devotion we my be cast out of the land of beer volcanos and sripper factories, never allowed to rejoice blissfully as others have been allowed.
