It's been some time since we last posted an update here, mainly because of the fact that National Highways (formerly Highways England) is years behind schedule.

Whilst some of this is down to the impact of Covid-19, the rest is down to people like YOU! Public and political opposition to these plans has continued to grow, as shown in this video of our demonstration and march last August.

Now, more than ever, green space must be protected.  We are facing a climate emergency and our air quality is under attack as a result of more and more HGVs servicing the Port of Liverpool.

We anticipate that the next round of consultation will be later this year and we will be raising awareness of this over the coming months.

In the meantime, please keep sharing our petition, encourage others to sign and let's fight for a better future for South Sefton.
