The careless use of these BBQ's is having a devastating effect on our wildlife and moorlands.  It seems that warning signs forbidding the use in certain high risk areas, such as beauty spots, moorlands, nature reserves have no effect as people are determined to take no notice.  The result of their actions is causing devastation to ground nesting birds, burrowing animals and our native wildlife that live in these areas.  Also it takes months/years for their natural habitat to recover, not to mention the resources involved, fire service, park rangers, RSPB, National trust etc., to rectify the damage done for the sake of a beef burger.
