NICE are about to publish “guidelines” on Lyme Disease. They haven’t even considered blood/organ donation as a vector for this disease. There are no guidelines as to whether anyone should donate at all.
I recently came across another petition that aims to address this issue within the US and obviously signed immediately as it is a problem that affects us all as a community and is a worldwide public health risk that cannot be ignored. I've put the link below for you.
We are nearly at 5000 signatures on our petition to the SOSH about NICE. This is a huge achievement and the campaign group thanks you all for the time and effort that you've put in to get us all this far.
Even if you think that petitions dont work, what harm is there in signing? And yes, you can sign more than one petition especially if the objectives of each are similar. It doesnt matter which country you are in... Lyme Disease doesnt acknowledge borders. We have to support one another so please keep sharing.
