If our petition was to stop vets refusing to treat fluffy kittens with Lyme everyone would have signed by now. Its modern human nature to "scroll through" life ignoring things that we think dont affect us personally. Most people have no idea how endemic this disease or related inflammatory diseases are. People accept their MS, MND, Fibro, ME/CFS diagnoses. They dont question their doctors or the fact that no one knows what the actual causes of these diseases are. They have to have causes - right?... and maybe not the single cause that every scientist seems to be searching for. We'll probably find out in 10 years time that something in the food supply made us susceptible to particular infections and that in certain combinations those "harmless" infections caused particular symptoms etc etc... Who knows? There are literally millions of people out there scrolling past our petition with no idea that they are already "infected" with something that will eventually kill them - and they will never know.
