Chick culling is "the process of killing newly hatched poultry for which industry has no use". In other words it is the legal yet barbaric practice of killing male baby chicks who have newly hatched because they are no value to the company. They are run through grinders down a conveyor belt and this is legal in the United States of America! How? This isn't humane in the slightest and as Americans we all assume that our government has agencies in place to make sure things like this do not happen. I'm appalled and ask you to join me in a petition to stop this cruel and horrible practice of slaughtering baby animals. Germany has banned it and new research has made it possible to determine the sex of baby chicks in earlier stages before hatching to make this practice outdated and unnecessary.
