Sen. Risa Hontiveros is the newly elected Senator, Republic of the Philippines. She served the House of Representatives as a Partylist Nominee of Akbayan, the publicly known communist-leaning group and received salaries and other benefits inherent with her position, including among others the most controversial Pork Barrel Funds (DAF-PDAF).

Sen. Hontiveros is now distributing the book entitled "Marcos Martial Law-Never Again" written by a certain Raisa Robles also a publicly known Anti-Marcos and a colleague of Sen. Hontiverus in the Left-Leaning Akbayan. Senator Hontiveros claims that the book shall teach the young students on the true history of the country during Martial Law period under the late Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr.. 

Written by an Anti-Marcos author and financed by a leftist Senator, the writings as contained in the book certainly are all distorted facts intended to malign and dishonor the person of the already dead President Marcos, therefore, "Libelous" act on the part of the author and Sen. Hontiveros who is financing the publication and distribution of the same book out of the funds she is receiving as an elected public official.

As parents who care for future of our children, we do not want them to be taught with lies on our country's past political and social conditions, intended to poison the minds into believing the teachings of communists and cast aspersions, malign and blacken the memory of the dead leader-the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr., who in truth had left living legacies that until now are enjoyed by the Filipinos including Sen. Riza Hontiveros and the book author.

In consideration of the foregoing, we are strongly urging the Secretary of the Department of Education and the Intellectual Property Office to , to issue an ORDER RECALLING any and all copies of book "Marcos Martial Law-Never Again" from all school libraries that received the same, and immediately CANCEL the Copy Right issued to the author/publisher based on "Libelous" contents of the book.
