Hello My name is carter, but most of my friends call me CJ. I'm Here to explain why TJ Hammond is so important and why he deserves happiness, and I hope this will inspire the writers of political animals to continue with a season two like they are talking about. For outsiders, tj Hammond is the son of the president of the united states and his mother is the secretary of defence. The couple had two children, twin boys three minutes apart. Thomas James 'TJ' Hammond being the oldest, and Douglas hammond. Douglas has a bright future. He works as his mothers campaign manager and is happily married by the end of the first season of the series. but there's another story. A sadder one, one that doesn't get looked on as much. And that's the story of TJ Hammond. You learn along the way that tj came out of the closet as gay in the white house, you learn that his love life is a rocky one, and that he turns to drugs, and has attempted suicide in December. You learn that his own parents don't really support him, and that when he was 6 months clean, and wanted to prove he could have something of his own, they wouldn't help him. But douglas felt Bad enough that he gave him money so he could start his night club like he dreamed of The Day finally came. Tj was actually happy. Until... His parents yet abandoned him again, causing him to snap and lose all hope. Sean didn't even come. So he started using again and used to the point where he was rushed to the hospital. That was really the only time his parents seemed to care, was when tj was on the rocks. Bud his father, wouldn't stop at ANY chance to say he was proud of douglas. He'd bring up tjs first suicide attempt as if it was nothing. Like it wasn't supposed to upset him, he even called it a stunt. I feel its unfair to give everyone else a story line where they have someone in their lives and they're happy doing what they love, and are excepted. Tj deserves that too. I've started a hash tag on Twitter called #PleaseMakeSeason2PoliticalAnimals because I want to see tjs smile. I want him happy. I'm so very passionate about tj Hammond because him and I are one in the same person ( minus doing drugs). He deserves so much happiness, and he has so much potential that a season one just isn't enough to show it. I do believe sebastian stan (who plays tj so very well) said at the phili wizard con that he believes tj is happily married, and I want that to be seen. Especially as tj is gay, it'd be a big step and influence in the LGBTQ+ community and as i, someone whose a part of it, hearing sebastian say that made me feel so happy. Tj deserves that to be shown after all the heart break he went through that was shown. He deserves so much happiness. This may be petty, but I want this to be heard. I love him so much, he may be a fictional character, but I hold him so very dear to me. And I know many new people are beginning to realize how tj Hammond has so much potential and deserves so much happiness and love and support So please, if you read this, please help me get heard that tj Hammond deserves a season 2 and to be happy.
