I have done much of my own research and watched the documentary "Blackfish" and many of videos as well. I realized that this is truly inhumane. Tilikum has killed 3 people on record and has had many other incidents with SeaWorld trainers. Why you may ask? In my opinion, it is because he is in capativy. He is stored in a tiny pool, almost like a bathtub, for hours after hours with nothing to do. He has no other interaction with the other orcas. The most interation he has with anyone is with the SeaWorld trainers. Obviously this has lead to unfortunate events. If I was all alone in a tiny tank with no one to talk to, I would probably get irritated as well. In my opinion, this is Tilikum's way of showing his irritation. Not only should Tilikum be released, but so should the other Orcas. They are called killer whales for a reason. People have seen them kill in the wild which has lead them to this name. There has been no evidence of any human being killed in the wild, just other animals. Wouldn't you rather have the Orcas kill in the wild then innocent people that were just trying to do their job? Not only would be saving the lives of others, but the killer whales themselves.
