Season Two of Daisy Jones and the Six

Season Two of Daisy Jones and the Six
The Issue
With Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham making a united comeback in the year of 2025, why not take the opportunity to do the same for Daisy and Billy?
As fans of Daisy Jones and the Six, the Emmy and Grammy nominated series that was given it's gold star approval by the Stevie Nicks, we're calling on Amazon Prime Video, Hello Sunshine, and Taylor Jenkins Reid (book author), to put forth the effort into making a season two or spinoff of the series happen!
In the final moments of the last episode of season one, we watch as Daisy Jones opens her door to Billy Dunne after twenty years of separation. The pairing shares a sweet, longing smile before we're hit with a black screen and the ending credits. This leaves the viewer wondering, what happens next? Sure, we can all infer and assume that they go on and live happily ever after at last, but with a fanbase that is still so alive, present, and engaged in their connection, in their music, and their story, why not continue to explore it on screen for everyone to see?
Fans all across social media, primarily X and TikTok, keep the show alive by continuing to show their love for the characters and music through fan edits, posts, comments, and more. Many of these posts hold thousands of likes and reposts, showing just how much love and interest is still there to this day.
But it's not just the fans that long to see this musical and soul connection continue to be explored, the actors and the individuals that the characters were inspired by long for it as well.
Stevie Nicks, rock and roll legend that inspired the creation of Daisy Jones, posted to her socials back in August of 2023 saying:
"Just finished watching @daisyjonesand6 for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn't really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story. It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story. It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it. Hopefully it will continue..."
And we now know that she has since watched the show many more times and holds it close to her heart.
Lead actors Riley Keough (Daisy Jones) and Sam Claflin (Billy Dunne) have also expressed their interest in continuing to tell the story. With Keough saying:
"We had so much fun making that show. So we’d definitely be up for some kind of spin off."
Sam Claflin had even mentioned having his own ideas for another season and had even discussed the possibilities with costar, Riley Keough and author of the story, Taylor Jenkins Reid, as recently as November 2024.
And only a few days ago, he mentioned:
"All I know is the desire is there across the board."
It would be a crime to discard the chemistry and talent that these two brought to the story and characters. Not to mention, a waste of the hard work in learning how to sing, play instruments, and perform to a crowd as if it's something they had always done, even though they had never ventured in the world of music before.
A second season would open up the doors to so much more success and possibilities for the story and for Prime Video. Another season would certainly lead to another hit album, let's not forget how Aurora topped the charts despite being from a fictional band. And the possibility for a tour could also be dug back up, as many fans expressed their extreme disappointment and desire for it after finding out that it was meant to happen, but ended up being cancelled. There's also no doubt that these two would be nominated once again for their brilliant roles.
But as Claflin recently stated, "it's not up to us (the actors), it's not up to me, it's not up to the fans." So, where do we go from here?
The only thing left to do is plead with the ones who started it all.
We, the undersigned, demand:
-A second season or spinoff series of Daisy Jones and the Six set in the 90s
-A second album, the chance for the fans to hear more of their incredible music
-The live tour that was supposed to happen originally
The truth is: the hype is still there for the show and there is an immense desire for the story to open into something more than what it already is. The fanbase is passionate, loyal, and very excited to show support for new content. And at the end of the day, how could you possibly deny Stevie Nicks something she wants just as bad as we all do?
If this decision is left unnoticed, so much potential and success will be lost. Don't let this story die, don't let the music die.
