As we all know, Paula Deen has really been in the lime light lately over a word she said 20 years ago about a man who robbed her with a gun pressed to her head. A word that can be found in MANY of K-Mart's items. From books, to music and movies, the "N" word is used over and over again. How can K-Mart justify continuing to sell Rap and Hip Hop music when they have dropped a world renowned chef and all of her products for using the word once in private? Do you see it written anywhere in her cookbooks? I know for a fact it isn't stamped anywhere on my baking dishes or butter melting pot. If she is racist and a bad influence on your shoppers then so are you K-Mart! You continuously push your expletive filled cds that target multiple races and use various hate terms. You have no problem with Kanye West spewing his hate but a little old lady from the south went too far when she admitted to saying a nasty word once. Do you even know the original definition of the word? It means a person of ignorance. Word of origin being Niggard. No race defined. Only you make it the slang term that is commonly used today. I recall that K-Mart continued to sell Martha Stewarts items after she was in jail. They certainly didn't rush to drop her! And what's so bad about this whole fiasco is that K-Mart isn't the only one! Please sign this petition and tell K-Mart to stop discriminating against Paula Deen. Because this IS discrimination.
