With the motion presented for the hardship fund on Aug 15th, I wanted to see what others thought about the information. Thank you all for your comments.
It seems we are all feeling relatively similar; good for few, not for most. When you look at the fund from the prospect of ALL former employees (even those who will terminated in the future) it is a small acceptance of responsibility on Sears' part.
More than 90% of these people will see nothing.
We must continue to put pressure on this company. If they are able to pay these executives, they are able to assist more of their former employees. Again, I think we need to acknowledge and press the signed contracts and planned payments that were canceled. Canceled with what I believe to be full knowledge of the road they were traveling down.
