THS Custom Leavers Hoodies

We as Year 11’s have noticed a change to the leavers’ hoodie available to us. That it is either to contain our second names or a blank back with only the number 16. Many of us are a bit troubled by this and we wish for this to change to have a custom name available to us. Although, one or two inappropriate names were produced last year, we feel that last year groups poor behaviour should not negatively impact us. This is why we think that there should be 3 slots for 3 different names we would prefer. Our first choice at the top and our third choice at the bottom, then these names should be assessed by our form tutors and/or the head of year. If all three happen to be refused then the pupil should be consulted to have another choice, under the supervision of the assessor to make sure this is appropriate. It would be highly appreciated if this event was to change to allow us to have our custom names.
Custom names provide a sense of individuality and a sense of fun around the end of the term when pupils have finished their exams, we feel that this should not be changed based on a few individuals behaviour.
