My name is Adrian and I'm proud to live in Rhode Island. Recently, I was made aware of a notoriously cruel farm that is nearly right around the corner from me! I was unaware that there is only one farm in the state that uses outdated and cruel battery cage systems. I was shocked to find that not only does this farm exist in my home state, but one of my local grocery stores, Seabra Foods, carries their eggs.

Why does Seabra Supermarkets support a farm that forces hens into tiny wire cages? I find myself at a Seabra location a few times a month, but now I don’t feel comfortable supporting such a business. Depriving an animal of its natural tendencies, let alone it’s ability to spread it’s limbs… well, it is just wrong.

Please sign my petition and urge Seabra Foods Supermarket to stop carrying eggs from Little Rhody Farms. There is no reason to support such a cruel, unsafe and unsustainable farm.
