Story of Lucky is highly indicative why animal legislation is crucial and why they must be adopted without delay.His case is truly unbelievable.

Lucky was a stray dog who was so innocent and loyal for the people of the locality who fed him but humans where not loyal for him,yes this tragedy happened a week ago,Ramesh a 26 years old unemployed person who is a resident of the locality Voiceless lucky always used to bark and wag his tail on the residents to show his loyalty to the residents like that he also used to bark on ramesh,unemployed and over stressed ramesh  had always seen lucky as his foe or an unwanted thing days passed on a rainy day when he was walking to home luck barked on him and wagged his tail but psychopathic ramesh had beaten lucky in his head and cutted his left hind paw with a butchers knife as it was raining there no one noticed this cruelty, poor lucky cried it pain and slowly moved to get some shelter from the rain,after 2 days people in that locality searched for lucky and found him near a abounded motor room  where he was crying with his wounds immediately they called us for rescue  our team went there and took him to the shelter also we sent our volunteers there is inspect about this incident at first we did't get any clue about this but a cc footage from a nearby house set everything into light Ramesh's cruel act got recorded in that cc taking this footage as an evidence we took this case to the nearby police station with our volunteers and lodged a complaint against ramesh with the cc fotage as the evidence they had arrested ramesh and having the hearing coming monday due to festival holidays but still there is no stricts laws for creulty against animals 

Also in the vet Lucky's condition is getting worst as the leg was cut several days ago we were advised  to remove his leg to save him currently he got sedated and put into iv as he is very weak due to heavy blood loss his leg removal surgery is planned 5th of November the surgery would cost $900 and the theater rent would be $200 half a day as we are a group of students and working individuals
