Family Caregivers provide a vital service to our communities. If a caregiver provides care that prevents them from working outside of the house, and the child or adult  person with disabilities wants or needs to stay at home, then Family Caregivers should be allowed to earn the funding made available to Service Providers.
Not only is this an ethical choice for the individual and the community, but it is a financially sound decision for the Province.
