We reopen for brand new signatures on Sunday 27th September

Our platform improvement campaign will officially reopen for new signatures on Sunday 27th September alongside my other petitions I’m currently focused on like my main Easter date campaign.

Our campaign timeline is as follows:

• ·      Petition launched out of frustration – 4th July
• ·      5 signatures – 20th July
• ·      Hiatus at 23 signatures – 2nd to 12th August
• ·      50 signatures – 30th August
• ·      100 signatures – 11th September
• ·      Hiatus at 116 signatures – 17th to 27th September

Other platform improvements I would like to see are:

• ·      For the “promote petition” button to be entirely disabled on petitions marked as “closed”.
• ·      Conversely, for the “close petition” option to be completely disabled during an active paid promotion.
• ·      For creators to not be able to change a petition’s scope (Local, National, Global) during an active  promotion.
• ·      For the change.org homepage to say “using the Number 1 campaign website is easy”, not “using the Number 1 petition platform is easy”.
• ·      For creators to earn a “FREE PROMOTION” every month if their own petition’s growth reaches more than 100 signatures over a 28 day period. Currently, a free promotion only happens when a creator’s new petition reaches 5 signatures. It is NOT A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD where creators with social media can easily reach big milestones for free, whereas creators like myself have had to spend THOUSANDS OF POUNDS just to reach those same milestones!

We will continue towards our next milestone of 150 signatures, however reaching 100 signatures was a massive achievement, as I have made over 100 new UK change.org users aware of the platform’s unfair national IP address and currency geofencing, which I HATE and causes certain campaigns to fail!

The fair rule I want change.org to keep is the 5 signature visibility rule, however without the petition creator counted as a supporter.
