As former and current students, as well as those affected by the "riffing" of our art teacher, Mrs. Cira Riccio (she is losing her job due to budget cuts in the district), we want to formally testify to the impact she has had on the Arcadia community and beyond; her presence at Arcadia High School has obviously affected the lives of past students, and is definitely important to the lives of the teens she currently teaches. We want to stress with this petition that Mrs. Riccio has influenced and inspired us artistically, and thus personally, in ways no other teacher could. And, we hope our school administators will allow her to continue to do so, by reinstating her in her position as art teacher at Arcadia High School for the 2014-2015 school year.
