If you are feeling unwell, public health officials are urging people to stay home to avoid spreading the Coronavirus, but this is only possible if you have a home. Renters across Saskatchewan are facing unfair rent increases, 'renovictions', and lack of maintenance repairs. In the middle of a public health pandemic, all levels of government must step up to protect renters and our city's most vulnerable populations.

We, the undersigned, demand all levels of government take immediate measures to protect renters and public health during the Coronavirus pandemic by:

1. Halting all evictions amid the pandemic

2. Postpone all hearings at the Office of Residential Tenancies amid the pandemic
