Increasing attacks this year on "in lamb" ewes and new born lambs have lead to an untold amount of sheep deaths, emotional upset and huge financial losses throughout the sheep farming community within rural Scotland, due to a lack of natural predators for the Common Raven and the species holding a protected status. By the massed voices of the rural community we are aiming to have the Common Raven added to Scottish Natural Heritage's SNH's general licence; 02/2016 in a timely manner which allows the "taking or killing of certain birds for the prevention of serious damage to live stock"
