Already we are seeing the effect of the Torrance Park Housing development, the destruction of our Natural Habitat surrounding Newarthill is all too common. Our Ancient woodlands is not only home to deer but pheasants, badgers, Birds of prey, foxes and more. By destroying these woodlands, we force our wildlife into the streets, threatening species and the lives of so many animals. Newarthill will no longer have the wildlife and nature that has surrounded it for so many years but brick by brick and house by house nature will be replaced by concrete and steel. The development of the Torrance park housing estate means increased noise pollution, increased Traffic, and an overpopulated town surrounded by roughcasting. Newarthill will no longer be connected to what Scotland is so well known for its beautiful Nature. By signing this petition, you take an active stance in standing up for nature and Newarthill against the financial greed of the property giants. 

Previous action has not been taken by myself but our Local MP will be contacted aswell as green party officials.  
This petition is being created in hopes of preserving the natural habitat and the wildlife that resides within our region. Putting a STOP to the expansion of Torrance park into our Nature.
