Having just had the sad news that George a cat known to the local community was killed in a road accident I wanted to start a petition as Im sure many before me have! to make it legal to report an injured or deceased cat. Unfortunately George was hit on a busy main road and the persons involved did not stop to help or report him, infact im saddened to say its transpired a few people passed poor George and didn't take action. This has to be stopped !! it surely must be made law to report such an accident and allow these animals some respect and their owners the right to grieve their loss.

I as a loving cat owner am reaching out to the powers that be to make this mandatory and infact law to report such incidents.
