It is time for an independent review of the standard and decision making made by the referees employed by the SPFL. Many decisions and favouritism towards some clubs has been noted and raised by all top tier clubs and supporters in Scotland. Performances from some refeeres have been dubious and inconsistant at best. We have seen many bookings/fouls/penalty's/offside goals given and many times the question "had that been at the other end of the pitch" would it have been given. We see no referee explain the descions they make, no transparency from the SPFL/SFA in regards to reviews. No justification for some embarrasing decisions. The attendances in the Scottish game is slowly rising but it's only a matter of time before fans stay at home. It's time for a change.
