Please sign this petition to help players like me.....I am an ex professional footballer who played for Motherwell Football Club from 1987 - 1991. I was told that my career was over after a horrific tackle that left my knee so badly injured l had no choice but to leave the game l loved. The injury resulted in a Hip replacement and now I've to have a total knee replacement on the 29th April. 

This injury has also made it very difficult to get a job within the industry that I dedicated my life to, its also made it difficult to hold down any job if I'm honest.

Why do l need your help...

In England any player that sustains a serious injury like mine is given help financially by the English Football Association. Here in Scotland the SFA offer nothing! I would like the SFA to sit up and offer help to all their ex players. These players like me dedicated their life to football and we are now left unable to hold down jobs that we love.

Please help me get the SFA to acknowledge and help all of these ex players and future players who may injure themselves through no fault of their own.
