SBC have updated the site plan following a response from the Roads department. They have rotated block 1 to face Linglie Road. There are other changes too, particularly in ensuring the site levels are over a certain height to meet SEPA’s requirements for mitigating flood risk. The new plans can be found on the SBC website, www.scotborders.gov.uk on the planning page and searching for application number 24/01120/FUL.

Although the changes acknowledge some of the issues with the application, they do not address many of the fundamental problems with building on this site.

Public consultation replies are open again until Thursday 8th May. If you have submitted an objection in the past, please do so again, and if you haven’t yet, please consider doing so.
