With the increase in traffic on Wisconsin roadways and the inattentive nature of today's driver the safety of all emergency workers attending to the needs of travelers is at risk! Wisconsin needs to take the lead in the Nation when it comes to roadside safety. 

Nathan Walsh, our brother, an experienced safety-conscious tow-truck operator was struck and killed by a vehicle while attending to a disabled vehicle on October 20, 2014 on a Wisconsin roadway (a place you are supposed to be safe). The safety of all emergency workers on Wisconsin roadways needs to be addressed and NOW!

This petition calls for the following issues to be addressed:

Increased awareness/enforcement of the Wisconsin Mover Over Law - 2001 WI Act 15, WI Statute 346.072

Additional signs placed on Wisconsin roadways reminding individuals of this law and the penalties for ignoring
