As promised, I would try to keep everyone updated as possible about the "Scott Run Commerce Center" (aka warehouses) AND the Logistics Center slated to be built across the street. Dermody Properties, which wants to build the Logistics Center has sued New Castle County, claiming a breach of contract for NCC Land Use not approving the project. These delays are no doubt due to the overwhelming opposition by the local community and clear violations of the UDC in the current plan. We continue to believe there SHOULD BE NO APPROVAL due to the plan not being compliant with the UDC. Article link on this development below.
