On Monday, January 21, 2019 Books-a-Million in Griffin, GA will be closing due to a rent increase by Halpern Enterprises, the property management company.  They are not the only business that is closing.  At this time, Books-a-Million has no plans to relocate to anywhere else in Griffin.  

This is the only book store in our community and we feel that it would be a great loss that will not only impact our family, but also the community.  The ladies that run this store are a great asset to the company.  If the residents of Griffin have to drive 20 to 30 minutes to the nearest bookstore they will undoubtedly be spending money at other businesses outside of the community. 

Please re-open Books-a-Million at another location in Griffin so that the community as a whole does not suffer.
