Last week the annexation trial regarding the attempt by Olive Branch to annex the Bridgetown and Lewisburg areas of Desoto County began. 

The trial has gone on for 8 days so far and they hope to conclude the trial by Friday. 

We have been told the Judge will hear from those citizens who have an opinion on the annexation. We do not know exactly when the Judge will hear from us. Our suggestion is to just come. Even if you can only be there a short while - come and be seen and give support to the cause. 

If you are able to attend, the case is heard in the Hernando court house (Hwy 51), in the Chancery Court. Park anywhere around the building and enter from the front. Court starts at 9am.
