I live in England and have recently become aware of the impending atrocity about to take place in the National parks in New South Wales and Victoria. Firstly there is the question as to why there has not been a public enquiry, they are in a National park so belong to the people or correct investigation about the actual numbers of Brumbies roaming wild after the fires and drought. Then there is the abhorrent way they intend to “cull” these beautiful horses that is beyond belief, by enticing or chasing by helicopter into areas and then indiscriminately shooting at the herd, who will run and panic, they will be wounded not killed outright and will suffer a long and agonising death, as I have explained in more detail in my letter below which i sent to Daniel Andrews and Lily d’ambrosio, you cannot kill a moving horse outright. This should not be happening at all let alone like this, you are supposed to be a civilized nation I can’t bear to think of the pain and suffering these animals will endure, there are thousands around the world supporting the Brumbies and watching events unfold. It also seems pretty convenient to be doing this when people are not allowed to travel or meet in large groups!!! I hope you have been honestly reporting what is about to happen in detail, how these animals are about to be run into the ground, shot at, this is torture and abuse which is against the RSPCA Act that was strengthened in 1849 to prevent cruelty and ill-treatment of any animal, but I understand the RSPCA are not standing by their own Act of Parliament,they should be held accountable. Anyone that goes along with this will have blood on their hands and I hope it will always be on their conscience forever more. There is always a different solution to every question if you look for it, one that does not result in such violent behaviour. They make good Therapy and Riding Horses that  has already been proven. So round them up and let the people of Australia have the Horses.
