Finally Scott Morrison has announced he has called on the Governor General. That his government has now brought extra support to the fire disaster to assist.

Finally, as he now states, he has had advice that the fire season will continue and we will face these dangers into February. Does this mean Scott Morrison is finally listening and acknowledging the experts? 

This announcement seems perfectly timed, as we are today in the middle of another catastrophic fire day. To make these announcements today seems more like a move of propaganda than a real attempt to make a difference. 

If he could do this today why could he not have made this step earlier? 

Scott Morrison’s focus was more on planning a holiday in Hawaii and how sneak out of the country, when he should have been planning solutions to aid the fire crisis.

We need a leader and Scott Morrison is not that. His lack of empathy and inability to connect with everyday Australians in crisis is astounding.

We have no confidence in his leadership and call again on the Liberal government to sack Scott Morrison.
