Global warming is a serious issue that could cause massive damage to our planet.  For example 1 out of 6 animal species risk going extinct because of global warming. Global warming also causes water shortages, droughts and horrible fires. If we let global warming rise at the rate it is now, by 2050 the world we call home will be an uninhabitable wasteland. 

Many people deny global warming just saying that its natural or that we don't have to act now. Many politicians don't even realise that action is needed, just signing agreements, but just sitting around doing nothing. We aim to change this by encouraging the Australian government to make haste to change and cut off coal trade.

Science shows that from the pre-industrial era to now, the amount of CO2 has risen from 360 ppm to 420 ppm in just 40 years. In comparison, the C02 in the air before the industrial revolution never rose above 300 ppm for 58 million years. We are living in the midst of a planet collapsing and people care more about a piece of paper with a dollar sign on it.
