The Lebanese people are suffering badly and are being deprived of their basic human rights. The situation in summary:

• Very little power.
• No bread deliveries to many areas.
• Petrol and diesel are scarce and the bank governor wants to remove subsidies which means petrol will cost around 300,000 LLB for 20Litre while many earn less than 1,000,000 a month.
• People are lining more than 6 km to get fuel and many times when their turn arrives, petrol stations shut down.
• Essential medicine like that of cancer is unavailable.
• It is anticipated hospitals will shut down due to lack of diesel which means people on oxygen will immediately die and many others a few days later.
• Explosions are being caused resulting in killing, injuring and affecting the livelihood of many people.
